This 1960’s block house became another “Renaissance Residence” in Historic Longwood. The original structure was demolished down to it’s 20’ x 44’ perimeter. From there, we built up the block walls to 9’4” and with a 45 degree angle roof, the story and a half takes on transitional ceiling lines upstairs; consistent with the 1900’s vernacular framed buildings. The complete exterior is insulated on the “hotside” as well as inside the walls the foam insulation encloses the underside of the roof deck. The energy efficient building saves on energy costs and
maintenance for the long term on the home. The craftsmanship and woodworking are performed by our men, in-house… The natural cherry floors are full 3/4” x 5 1/2”; sanded and finished in place. The stone & tile is also done by our own team of craftsmen. The galley kitchen is traditional & functional with a nice window view. Our craftsman built Florida Victorian will stand proud for many generations to come in Historic Longwood; a nostalgic reminder of Central Florida living from 1885.
